The election race for Port of Bay City Commissioner – normally sleepy and sometimes uncontested – has become more important this year, especially after the recent controversy over the failed Bond measure. Both incumbents, running for re-election, have challengers.
The front man for the Commissioners, and longest serving commissioner, is George Harrison, who also serves as Chairman. He is running an extensive campaign for re-election.
In a wide-ranging podcast, we interviewed George, and asked him about himself, the benefits the port brings to the county, and of course about the controversial rejected bond measure, concluding with why he should get your vote and be returned to office.
