On January 9, 2023, David Rowell interviewed Ray Garcia and Kara Cowart, the two directors of the production A Night on Broadway, being staged by CAST in Bay City later in the month.

They talk about the history of this show, which they completely designed and developed themselves, how it evolves from year to year, and Dr Cowart, a senior teacher at Bay City High School, makes a surprising confession about how she gets work done.

Special Report - Palacios Luther Hotel Preservation

The 120 year old Luther Hotel in Palacios has been quietly sold, and is now threatened with demolition.

A local group argues that it should be saved due to its historical significance.  A higher offer has been made, but the seller appears disinterested.  The city says it is nothing to do with them.
